The Y NSW is embarking on a critical shift to centralised procurement, delivering stronger governance, better value, and improved operational confidence across a multi‐site organisation.
The Procurement Lead will play a pivotal role in building and operationalising a centralised procurement function across FY*****.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the centralisation of the highest‐impact procurement categories
Socialise Delegations of Authority and approval processes with Operations to build confidence and improve adoption
Accelerate savings opportunities, supplier consolidation, and data‐driven decision‐making
Drive urgent procurement activity including tenders, supplier compliance audits and contract renegotiations
Implement systems, processes and controls to improve organisational procurement maturity
Conduct risk‐based supplier audits, prioritising high‐frequency site visitors and ensuring WWCC compliance
Organise supplier reviews, ensure contract files and documentation are accurate and complete
Provide visibility of spend, trends and supplier performance across business units
Support fleet operations, stocktake processes, and liquidation of aged/excess inventory
About You




Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar procurement role, ideally in a multi‐site environment
Robust experience in tenders, contract negotiations and supplier management
Proven capability influencing internal and external stakeholders
Comfortable working in environments where structure is maturing and improvements are continuous
Strong problem‐solving, communication and relationship‐building skills
