Design & Engineering
CPP has the largest in‐house design and engineering team of any contractor in Australia, with over 190 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary, Civil, Structural, and SCADA disciplines.
We provide end‐to‐end engineering solutions for high‐voltage infrastructure, including nationally significant transmission projects, HV substations, wind farms and battery storage systems that drive Australia's renewable energy transition.
Our engineers work closely with construction and operations teams, ensuring designs are practical, constructible, and continually refined through real‐world feedback.

The Opportunity
Join our highly experienced Transmission Lines team at our Halifax Street head office in Adelaide and play a key role in delivering utilities and renewable energy infrastructure projects.
You'll support the design and delivery of transmission line solutions, producing high‐quality drawings and documentation that help shape Australia's renewable energy future.
About You
Desired Skills and Experience
Structural or mechanical design/drafting experience
Experience in the utilities or renewable energy industry (highly regarded but not essential)
Proficiency with drafting software, with the ability to interpret and apply design information from key stakeholders with the end user in mind
Relevant tertiary studies (favourable but not essential)
A trade background complemented by recent studies or drafting experience (highly desirable)
