We are entering a major growth period, with significant projects in the pipeline and a new energy business being launched. We are looking for a capable
Bookkeeper/Accounts
Coordinator who wants to take ownership, improve systems and grow with the business.
n
THE CHANCE
n
This is a newly created, hands-on role working directly with the directors.
n
You will take ownership of the day-to-day accounts function and become the key person responsible for ensuring our invoicing, payroll, payments, reconciliations and financial reporting remain accurate and up to date.
n
You will have the opportunity to improve how things are done, establish processes for our new business and build a role that grows in responsibility and influence as the company expands.
n
You will also work closely with our external accountant, who manages tax, BAS lodgements and year-end compliance.
n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n
n
Customer invoicing and debtor follow-up
n
Weekly payroll and employee entitlements
n
Supplier and subcontractor payments
n
Bank, credit-card and Amex reconciliations
n




Accounts payable and accounts receivable
n
Maintaining cash-flow forecasts, budgets and dashboards
n
Reporting key financial information to the directors
n
Helping establish the accounts systems for our new business
n
Improving Xero and internal finance procedures
n
n
ABOUT YOU
n
n
Experienced with Xero, payroll and reconciliations
n
Confident managing invoicing, suppliers and subcontractors
n
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
n
Comfortable working directly with business owners
n
Proactive and able to take ownership without constant direction
n
Able to keep up in a fast-paced and growing environment
n
n
Experience in plumbing, electrical, construction, field services or project-based businesses will be highly regarded.
