Novotel Surfers Paradise is seeking a highly organised and proactive People & Culture Coordinator to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an administration professional who enjoys delivering exceptional internal customer service, managing processes with accuracy, and supporting a busy hotel operation.
As the People & Culture Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our employee lifecycle administration is managed efficiently and professionally.
No two days are the same in hospitality, making this the perfect role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
About the Role
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across all areas of the People & Culture function.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing employment contracts, letters, and employee documentation
Coordinating onboarding administration, including orientation, uniform and locker allocation
Maintaining employee records and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality
Assisting with payroll system (Zambion/Ready Workforce) administration
Managing employee files and compliance requirements
Coordinating trainingbookings and maintaining training records
Supporting visa, work rights, and employment compliance checks
Coordinating offboarding activities
Producing reports, correspondence, and HR metrics
Providing general administrative support to the People & Culture team
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in administration, coordination, HR administration, or office support
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and time management skills
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Previous use of SmartRecruiters, Ready Work Force (Zambion) highly desireable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
A proactive approach and strong customer service mindset
The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
