The Role & Team
n
Joining an established Property & Commercial team, you'll work across a diverse range of commercial and property matters, managing your own files while building robust, long-term client relationships.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Advising on a broad range of property and commercial matters, including commercial leasing, acquisitions and disposals, property development and property disputes.
n
Assisting clients within the retirement living and aged care sectors, together with exposure to compulsory acquisition matters.
n
Managing matters autonomously from commencement through to completion while delivering practical, commercially focused advice.
n
Building and maintaining strong client relationships,
developing an understanding of their commercial objectives and providing tailored legal solutions.
n
Working collaboratively with the wider Property & Commercial team and supporting the firm's experienced conveyancing practice where required.

To Be Successful
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
At least 5 years' PAE with strong experience in commercial and/or commercial property law, especially across property transactions, commercial leasing, development and/or property disputes.
n
Strong commercial judgement and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
n
The ability to manage matters independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
n
A genuine interest in building a long-term career within an established Melbourne firm.
