An outstanding opportunity has arisen within our Manufacturing and Technical Division in Braeside for an experienced Supply Planner / Procurement Specialist who can take ownership of planning and material supply for a complex manufacturing environment.

This is not an administrative purchasing role.

What You'll Be Responsible For
n
n
Supply planning and procurement execution.
n
Demand-driven purchasing and replenishment planning.
n
MRP management and inventory optimisation.
n
BOM analysis and component planning.
n
Supplier performance and relationship management.
n
Supply risk mitigation and shortage resolution.
n
New product introduction support.
n
Inventory control and continuous improvement.
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
To be successful in this role,
you will have proven experience in a manufacturing supply planning environment and be comfortable making commercial decisions based on data, analysis and operational requirements.
n
Extensive experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning, Procurement or Materials Planning within manufacturing.
n
Strong working knowledge of MRP systems.
n
Experience managing both overseas and local suppliers.
n
Experience planning components and finished goods using Bills of Material.
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
n
Ability to identify root causes of supply issues
n
Sound understanding of inventory management principles.
n
Experience balancing service levels, inventory investment and supplier constraints.
