About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced and solutions focused Legal Counsel to join our friendly team in Chatswood, Sydney. In this role, you will support the Australian business across a broad range of commercial legal matters and provide timely, practical and commercially minded advice.
n
You will work closely with internal stakeholders on contracts, consumer law, risk, compliance and regulatory matters, helping to keep our operations running smoothly while enabling confident business decisions.
n
This role is ideal for a proactive legal professional who enjoys variety, autonomy and meaningful input into day‐to‐day commercial activity within a global travel organisation.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
n
Providing clear, practical legal advice across commercial, corporate and regulatory matters
n
Supporting business teams with contract management, compliance and risk‐related issues
n
Assisting with internal legal processes, policies and training
n
Managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external legal providers
n
Contributing to strategic initiatives with a commercial, solutions‐focused approach
n
n
About You
n
You're a proactive, collaborative and commercially minded legal professional with solid communication skills and the confidence to advise across a variety of business areas. You enjoy working in a fast‐paced environment, solving problems, and partnering with stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Law and eligibility to practise in Australia (unsupervised)
n
4–6 years' post‐qualification experience (in‐house or private practice)
n
Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
n
Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
n
A proactive, solutions‐oriented mindset
n
Ability to work independently while contributing to a close‐knit team
n
