Job Description
Amy Hurd Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead our community focused service. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated early childhood professional to step into a well loved centre with strong values, a supportive team, and a commitment to high quality education and care.

About the Role
n
The Centre Director and Nominated Supervisor will oversee daily operations, lead and mentor educators, ensure compliance with NQF/NQS requirements, and build strong relationships with families, staff, and the wider community. You will champion a positive workplace culture and uphold the centre's vision for safe, nurturing, and meaningful learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, support, and inspire a team of educators
n
Ensure regulatory compliance, documentation, and reporting
n
Maintain high standards of safety, supervision, and wellbeing
n
Build strong partnerships with families and community stakeholders
n
Manage enrolments, staffing, rosters, and centre administration
n
Drive continuous improvement and uphold quality practices
n

About You
n
n
Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education
n
Previous leadership experience in an early learning setting
n
Strong understanding of NQF, NQS, and regulatory requirements
n
Excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills
n
A team-oriented, warm, and professional leadership style
n
