We are a preferred repairer for major insurers and approved by RAA and MTA SA/NT, delivering high-quality collision repair services through a skilled team and industry-leading technology.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused General Manager to lead the next phase of growth and operational excellence across our collision repair business.

ABOUT THE ROLE
n
You will be responsible for the overall strategic, financial and operational performance of Smiths Bodyshops located in Adelaide, Clare and Port Augusta.
n
Leading an experienced Operations Manager and site leadership teams, you will drive business growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, people development and continuous improvement across all locations.
n
This is a senior leadership opportunity suited to an individual who thrives on building high-performing teams, developing business strategy and delivering strong commercial outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the overall strategic direction and performance of Smiths Bodyshops.
n
Drive revenue growth, profitability and achievement of budget objectives.
n
Provide leadership and support to the leadership teams.
n




Develop and execute business plans aligned with Smith Motor Group objectives.
n
Build relationships with insurers, suppliers, industry partners & stakeholders.
n
Monitor & improve outcomes across financial, operational & customer metrics.
n
Drive a culture of accountability, leadership and continuous improvement.
n
Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, insurer & industry requirements.
n
Identify opportunities for innovation, operational efficiencies and future growth.
n
Protect and enhance the reputation as a leading collision repair provider.
n

ABOUT YOU

Demonstrated success in a senior leadership or General Manager position.
n
Proven ability to lead multi-site operations and teams.
n
Exceptional leadership, coaching and people development skills.
n
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyse data and drive performance.
n
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
n
A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on leadership approach.
n
Robust understanding of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
n
Experience within the collision repair, automotive, transport, manufacturing or related industry will be highly regarded.
