Job Description
The chance exists for an Asset Protection Officer to join a Council on an initial 6 month contract commencing in September.

Employed as an Asset Protection Officer, you will be responsible for:
n
n
Inspection of works to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council policies
n
Investigation & resolution of any breaches of legislation and policies
n
Issuing of infringement notices
n
Issuing vehicle crossing permits
n
Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld
n
Supervising works & construction of municipal infrastructure.
n
n
As the ideal candidate you will have/be:
n
n
A degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant
experience/qualifications
n
A Civil Engineer with experience in issuing permits within a local government organisation
n
Experience conducting asset protection inspections
n
A solid understanding of Local
Governmentprocedures
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
A current driver's license
n
n
