Zoom Recruitment is currently seeking a Machine Operator – Steel Reinforcing to join a busy production team based in Eagle Farm.
n

About the Role
n
Working within a busy steel reinforcing facility, you will operate machinery including Gantry Crane & CNC Machinery used in the processing and fabrication of reinforcing steel products. This is a fast-paced production setting where safety, quality, and teamwork are highly valued. Full-time opportunities are available and will be offered to candidates who show a commitment to their work and a desire to grow in the steel industry.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Safely operate steel processing machinery and gantry cranes
n
Perform repetitive manual handling tasks (up to 10kg)
n
Complete basic quality checks
n
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
n
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
n
n
About You
n
n
Previous machine operating, manufacturing, or gantry crane experience (advantageous)
n
Basic welding experience (MIG – desirable)
n
The ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks and willingness to learn
n
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety
n
Reliable with a strong work ethic
n
The ability to communicate & work effectively within a team
n
Full Australian working rights (essential)
