Operator

What you'll be doing:
n
n
Unload trucks, skip bins, and trailers safely and efficiently.
n
Operate plant and equipment, including forklifts, material handlers, loaders, and excavators
n
Grade, sort, and manage ferrous and non-ferrous metals to meet operational and quality requirements.
n
Assist with receiving, processing, and dispatching materials.
n
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
n
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and operational procedures.
n
Identify and report hazards, incidents,



and unsafe conditions.
n
Assist with general yard duties and other operational tasks as required.
n
Provide outstanding customer service to drivers, customers,
n
n
What you'll bring:
n
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
n
Flexibility and willingness to assist across various operational areas.
n
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
n
Knowledge of metal grading and recycling processes would be an advantage.
n
Experience operating heavy mobile plant and equipment including excavators and material handlers.
n
Background in the recycling is an advantage.
