We are looking for talented
Heavy Diesel Mechanic's
to join our
RAIL
workshop team in
Wetherill Park
specialising in
engine strip, rebuild and reconditioning
for
train fleet
customers.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Works on auxiliary power supply units and traction engines of the Sydney Trains diesel powered train fleet.
Repair and overhaul of engines and control panels
Required to use Cummins CRM tool for completing customer order related job stories and documentation
Mid-range and High horse power engines
Day Shift - 6.25am to 2.30pm Monday - Friday!
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Mechanical trades qualified - Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic with heavy experience
Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products
Ideally possess engine rebuild and reconditioning experience or knowledge
Solid diagnostic capabilities with the help of systems on computers
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive above award hourly rate paid as a permanent salary
Overtime penalties for all work above standard Monday – Friday 38-hour work week
