Concordia Lutheran College Kindergarten is a beautiful, community, not-for-profit, 5-day, 2 room kindergarten located on the grounds of Concordia Lutheran College in Toowoomba.
n
The Service operates Monday to Friday from 7.30am - 5.30pm and is open for 50 weeks of the year, with a two-week closure from mid-December to January each year.
n
The Kindergarten hosts two Early Education Programs run by a Bachelor qualified teaching team.
n
About the Role
n We are seeking passionate and dedicatedEarly Childhood Educatorsto join our team in a fixed term or casual capacity until the end of ****. Due to an increase in enrolments and our Kindergarten reaching full licensed capacity, we are expanding our team to ensure we continue delivering high-quality care and education.
n
Possibility of extension for the right candidate.
n
These roles are ideal for educators who are committed to creating a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment for children while working collaboratively within a supportive team.
n
Successful applicants must have:
n
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or
n
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care(preferred)
n
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
n
Current First Aid,CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
n




Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
Geccko Training experience
n
Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Framework and QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
n
A professional and enthusiastic attitude with a strong work ethic.
n
Abilityto develop and maintain strong relationships with families, children and colleagues
n
In this role, you will make a positive difference in the lives of children and families by:

Delivering a high quality, inclusive, approved Kindergarten program;
n
Ensuring learning and development is aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Standards and the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines;
n
Facilitating activities and programs, both indoors and outdoors
n
Writing observations and analysing the children's progression and development;
n
Providing children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment;
n
Developing strong relationships with children and effectively communicating with parents and carers;
n
Working with a friendly and supportive team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families;
n
Supporting the Christian ethos and values of the Kindergarten.
