Deep Clean Operator – Food Manufacturing Night Shift

Moondarra Cheese is a proud Australian cheese manufacturer based in Dandenong South, supplying major supermarket retailers and export markets. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dedicated Deep Clean Operator to join our Night Shift team.

About the Role
n
This is a hands-on hygiene role within a food manufacturing environment You'll be responsible for ensuring our production and warehousing areas are cleaned and disinfected to a very high standard, working in cool, hot, and wet conditions (8–15 degrees) typical of a food processing facility.

Key Responsibilities
n
Undertake hygiene tasks including cleaning of equipment within production and warehousing areas to required hygiene standards
n
Assemble, disassemble, and clean production machinery and equipment
n
Review equipment condition and escal... any damage or risks to the appropriate personnel
n
Ensure chemicals are used and stored correctly
n
Complete all hygiene paperwork accurately and submit to the correct personnel
n




Follow work instructions and raise any issues with the Night Shift Supervisor
n
Promote a robust health, safety, and environmental culture within the department
n
What We're Looking For
n
Experience in a food manufacturing or food processing environment is highly regarded, particularly with
assembling/disassembling
machinery for deep cleaning purposes
n
Physically fit, with high energy, initiative, and eagerness to learn
n
Strong verbal and written communication skills with good attention to detail
n
Good planning and organisational skills
n
Ability to work independently and reliably on night shift
n
Comfortable working in a cold, wet, and physically demanding environment
