Our client, a global ASX-listed technology business known for its impressive growth and entrepreneurial culture, is seeking an experiencedAccounts Receivable / Receipting Officerto join their finance team.
This is a hands-on, operational role with a strong focus onreceipting, reconciliations, payment allocation and bank tracing, offering exposure across multiple global regions, currencies and systems.
Hybrid Work:3 days in the office and 2 days working from home (post-training).
Competitive Rate:$40–$45 per hour + Super, depending on experience.
Contract:Initial 6-month contract with a high likelihood of extension.

Role Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Receivable / Receipting Officer, you will:




Process and allocate incoming customer payments across EFT, BPAY, direct debits and other payment methods.
Completebank reconciliations, payment allocations and bank tracing.
Match remittances against open invoices and ensure payments are accurately receipted.
Investigate and resolve unallocated, misapplied or discrepant payments.
Reconcile customer accounts, identifying short payments, overpayments and credit balances.
Support the wider Collections and Finance teams to maintain accurate debtor ledgers.
Assist with month-end reconciliations and receipting reporting.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve payment and remittance queries.
Requirements:
2+ years' experience acrossAccounts Receivable, Receipting or Cash Applications.
Strong reconciliation skills and confidence working with high-volume transactions.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
Robust written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working across multiple systems and managing competing priorities.
Exposure toMicrosoft Dynamics, NetSuite or similar ERP systemswould be advantageous.
