We are seeking areliable and motivated Forklift Driver / Yard Handto join a busy timber and landscape supplies yard in Rouse Hill.
This is ahands-on, hybrid rolecombining Forklift operation, timber preparation and general yard duties.
The successful candidate willnot be operating a Forklift for the entire shiftand must be comfortable regularly getting on and off the forklift to assist with timber orders, machinery and general yard tasks.
Rouse Hill -Ongoing Work -Hands-On Role
Key Responsibilities
Operating a Forklift safely and efficiently
Picking and preparing customer timber orders
Cutting timber to required lengths and sizes
Drilling holes into timber posts using machinery
Operating machinery and general hand tools
Handling timber products and related landscape materials
Loading and unloading trucks and customer vehicles
Sorting and organising timber orders
Assisting customers with loading their orders
General yard and labouring duties as required
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
Working closely with the team to ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently
About the Role
The role is primarily focused onpreparing and handling timber orders, including cutting timber, drilling posts and assisting with customer orders.
Previous experience in thetimber,



building, landscaping or landscape supplies industryis highly desirable.
Experience using hand tools, machinery or working in a timber yard will be highly regarded.
You will need to be comfortable withphysical work, manual handling and working as part of a busy team.
To Be Successful You Will Have
CurrentForklift Licence (LF)highly regarded but not essential
Previous Forklift and warehouse/yard experience
Timber industry or timber yard experiencehighly regarded
Experience using hand tools and/or machinery
Ability to safely perform manual handling and physical work
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Positive attitude and willingness to get hands-on
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Good attention to detail when preparing customer orders
Safety-conscious approach to all tasks
