Overview
Senior Network Engineer prospect in Melbourne for a government client.
3-month contract with strong potential for extension or permanent opportunity.
$800/day (inc super).
Mostly work from home with occasional on-site travel.
Must have PR or Australian Citizenship.
What we're looking for
5+ years in a network engineering role
Strong experience in LAN, WAN, Switching, Routing & Firewalls
Proficiency with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, NetScaler, SD-WAN, Wireless AP (Aruba)
Knowledge of network security, access control models, and cloud platforms (Azure & AWS)
Experience with on-prem data centres and incident response
Minimum CCNP certification
Excellent communication and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
