TheAOD Senior Support Workerplays a critical leadership role in ensuringhigh‐qualityparticipant support, secure residential operations, and consistent staff practice across every shift.
Reporting to theProgram Manager, this is aPermanentFull‐Timeposition, basedon siteinBendigo, Victoria.This role is part of anon-call rosterto provide response for risk matters outside normal business hors, consistent with the on-call arrangements.
About the role
This is your opportunity to leadon‐shiftpractice,coordinate daily residential operations, and support a team of AOD Support Workers to deliver safe, structured andrecovery‐focusedcare.
You will guide crisis responses, behaviour management, handover processes, and continuity of care, ensuring the residential environmentremainssafe,supportiveand aligned with TSA's AOD model of practice.
Conditions
Compensation isin accordance withtheSocial, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) Level4.
How you will make an impact
Crisis & behaviour managementlead staff responses to participant needs, including brief interventions and crisis responses
Structuredhandoverfacilitatehigh‐qualityshift handovers using TSA's structured handover principles




Operational coordinationsupport daily program operations,after‐hoursresponse requirements and safe staffing levels
People leadershipsupervision and performance development.
Care coordination contributioncommunicateparticipant progress,risksand protective factors to case workers and support implementation of participant plans
Group program supportassist with group facilitation and ensure consistent delivery of the program timetable
What you will bring
AOD Skill Set(CHCSS*****), including CHCAOD001, CHCAOD004, CHCAOD006, CHCAOD009
Relevant qualificationssuch as Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology,Counsellingor related fields (preferred)
Residential leadership experienceincluding staff supervision and reflective practice
Strong crisis response capabilityand ability tomaintaina safe, structured environment
Collaborative communication skillswith the ability to support team cohesion and participant safety
AVictorianEmployeeWorkingwithChildren Check
Acurrent Victorian Driver's Licence
