The Role
As an Underground Mining Engineer/Senior Mining Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting our clients onsite & remotely to provide operations support & improvements
Developing/reviewingdaily, weekly & monthly mine plans using Deswik & Microsoft Excel
Identifying/implementingproductivity & business improvement initiatives to our clients
Providing technical support to mine operations teams & inspections of underground workings
Generating/reviewingproduction & compliance reports overdaily/weekly/monthlyhorizons
What We're Looking For
Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline
Proven experience with Deswik CAD, UDGB &/or IS (essential)
Minimum of 3+ years underground mining experience
Proficient in drill and blastdesign/optimisation
Proficient indaily/weekly/monthlymine planning
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Uncompromising commitment to safety
Current manual driver's licence
First Class Mine Manager's ticket (preferred but not essential)
Full Australian working rights (please do not apply without this)
