A respected national health association is looking for an experienced conference professional to lead delivery of their flagship triennial national conference - a ******* delegate, multi-day event in Sydney in August ****.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role with significant internal and external stakeholder exposure, sitting within a close-knit, collaborative events team.
Responsibilities
End-to-end coordination of a national conference ******** delegates) and annual research summits including planning & budget.
Programme development - speaker sourcing, scheduling, and on-day coordination.
Primary contact for venues, suppliers, and an external working group of senior professionals.
Supporting the management of the conference Abstract Submission process in collaboration with a dedicated team member.
Coordinating and actively participating in an external working group/committee of senior professionals and academics - facilitating meetings and keeping the group on track.
Leading internal stakeholder communications across multiple teams and the executive.
Coordinating sponsor and exhibitor logistics in line with partnership agreements.
Delivery of additional 2-3 virtual summits per year, with broader team and event coordinator support.
Qualifications
Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of large-scale, multi-day corporate conferences - not just in a supporting capacity.
Strong in-person and hybrid event experience.
Confident stakeholder communicator - able to guide senior stakeholders with diplomacy.
Allied health or professional association background highly regarded, but not essential.
