DGL Group are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Metal Machinist to join their team in Derrimut Victoria ****. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
n
n
Study and read drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations and machine settings
n
Fit fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts to produce machines and equipment
n
Setting guides, stops and other controls on machining tools, setting up prescribed cutting and shaping tools in machines and presses, and setting controls for machines
n
Forming metal stock and casting to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore and drill metal
n
Cutting, threading,



bending and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines
n
Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machine, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment
n
n
Skills & Abilities:
n
n
Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical trade
n
Ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field
n
Experience with beams lines and plasma plate cutting
n
n
Salary & Advantages
n
