A permanent full time position commencing 28 January ****. The successful applicant will be required to teach Mathematics across a range of year groups and levels.
n
The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
n
n
Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
n
Create and maintain an orderly, protected and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
n
Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
n
Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in Mathematics.
n
Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
n
Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues,



parents /carers and the wider College community.
n
n
DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA
n
n
Experience teaching Stage 4 and 5 Mathematics.
n
Experience having taught in Stage 6 (Standard and/or Advanced)
n
n
GENERAL CAPABILITIES
n
n
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
n
Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
n
Strong organisational skills.
n
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
n
n
Appropriate qualifications for teachingnominated Key Learning Area (s).
n
Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
n
The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA.
n
n
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
n
This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
