Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Port Adelaide site, the Excavator/Material Handleroperator will perform a range of duties within the metal recycling yard. This is a permanent day shift role offering regular overtime before 8am and paid leave! There will be on-the-job training provided and excellent opportunities for career progression/multi skilling.

What you will be doing:
n
n
Operating a Material Handler/Excavator
n
Operating a forklift if/when ticketed
n
Loading and unloading trucks and shipping containers
n
Loading scrap metal onto conveyor for processing through the shredder
n
Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
n
Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
n
Adhering to safety procedures at all times
n
n

What you will bring:
n
n
Experience operating a Material Handler/Excavator
n
Forklift ticket, desirable
n
Mobile shearing on an excavator advantageous
n
Experience in scrap recycling, civil construction, waste or manufacturing is highly advantageous
n
Comfortable working in a fast-paced yard environment
n
Reliable and punctual with a safety focused and team oriented mindset
n
