We are seeking an experienced and reliable Contract Onsite IT Support Technician to assist with residential and small business support throughout Melbourne.

About the Role
n
You will attend customer homes and business premises to diagnose, repair and support a range of computer systems, networks and related technology.
n
Jobs will be allocated by our Kew East office based on your availability, experience and preferred service areas.
n
Typical assignments may include:
n

Diagnosing desktop and laptop computer problems
n
Windows 10 and Windows 11 troubleshooting
n
Microsoft 365, Outlook and email support
n
Setting up new computers and transferring customer data
n
Wi‐Fi, internet and network troubleshooting
n
Printer and peripheral installation
n
Virus and malware removal
n
Hardware upgrades and component replacement
n




Data backup and recovery assistance
n
Remote IT support
n
General residential and small business IT support
n
n
You will represent PC Repair Centre while attending customer sites and will be expected to provide professional, friendly and reliable service.
n
Essential Requirements
n
Applicants must have:
n
n
At least three years of IT support or computer repair experience
n
Strong Windows diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
n
Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Outlook and email
n
Good knowledge of networking, routers and Wi‐Fi
n
Excellent customer service and communication skills
n
A professional and presentable manner
n
The ability to work independently and manage onsite appointments
n
A current Australian driver's licence
n
Your own reliable vehicle
n
Your own mobile phone and suitable technician tools
n
An active ABN and the ability to submit invoices
n
Appropriate public liability insurance
n
The ability to travel between customer sites across Melbourne
n
n
Highly Regarded Experience
n
Experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage:

Microsoft 365 administration
n
Microsoft Entra ID and Intune
n
Windows Server and Active Directory
n
Business networks, firewalls and VPNs
n
Managed IT services
n




Remote monitoring and support tools
n
Apple Mac support
n
Cybersecurity and backup solutions

There are no guaranteed minimum hours. The amount of work offered will depend on customer demand, your availability, location, performance and technical capabilities.

About You
n
You are an experienced technician who can quickly assess technical problems, communicate clearly with customers and complete work to a high professional standard.
n
You understand that strong customer service is just as important as technical ability. You are punctual, trustworthy, organised and comfortable working without direct supervision.
n
You must also be willing to follow PC Repair Centre's service, documentation, privacy and customer communication procedures.
n
Location and Service Area
n
Our office and workshop are located in Kew East, Victoria.
n
Most assignments will be located across Melbourne's eastern and south‐eastern suburbs, although work may occasionally be available elsewhere in metropolitan Melbourne.
n
Applicants may nominate their preferred suburbs and maximum travel distance.
