Your Role
n
As Senior Structural Engineer, you'll be a client-focused individual. You will bring your experience in Australian residential engineering. Standout applicants must have previous experience in the Australian residential market, a 'can do' attitude and eye for detail. Ideal candidate will have experience working with volume builders.

You'll:
n
n




Be able to design residential structures including slab, framing and relevant details
n
Be able to check other engineers work at a volume pace maintaining client timeframes
n
Work within the Structerre design philosophies
n
Build, maintain and develop relationships with clients, liaising with them on all aspects of their design requirements. Including proactive communication
n
Ensure that engineering designs adhere to Australian Standards and Structerre's design philosophy, in addition to the Company's technical procedures and standardised processes.
n
Provide technical advice to staff within and outside the Section, and to external clients, as required.
n
Provide leadership to, and assist in the development of, other engineers through guidance and instruction.
n
Interpret architectural drawings for structural design consideration and extract relevant information.

What You'll Bring
n
n
A completed Civil/Structural Engineering Degree that is recognized by Engineers Australia (required).
n
Professional Engineering Registration would be advantageous.
n
3-5 years' experience.
n
A strong client focus and desire to deliver practical, sustainable and effective engineering solutions.
n
Experience with the following is must:
n
A high level of initiative and proactivity, particularly in relation to creative problem solving.
