About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operator to join our freight forwarding team.
This is a hands-on role responsible for the safe and efficient handling, receiving, checking, staging and dispatch of freight.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and understand the importance of accuracy, safety and meeting deadlines.
Shifts
Mon - Friday
2:00pm - 10:00pm
Key Responsibilities
Receive, unload and check incoming freight
Pick, pack, label and prepare freight for dispatch
Load and unload containers, trucks and other vehicles
Sort, stage and consolidate freight for delivery
Operate order pickers and forklifts
Assist with container devanning and loading
Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation
Safely handle cartons, pallets and other freight
Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with workplace safety requirements
Report damaged, missing or incorrectly labelled freight




Follow company procedures and all workplace health and safety requirements
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and committed to getting the job done
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Able to work in a busy freight/warehouse environment
Safety-conscious and attentive to detail
Comfortable following instructions and working independently when required
Experienced in warehouse, logistics or freight forwarding environments
A current LO licence and experience operating an order picker is ESSENTIAL.
