Job Description
Smart Access Solutions is a leading provider of gate automation and car park management systems across commercial and industrial sectors.
We are the largest installers of BENINCA gate automation systems in the Southern Hemisphere, installing over 1,000 gate motors/boom gates per year.
In addition to automation, we design and deploy our own in-house parking technology, Parkezi, a cloud-based ANPR system used across a wide range of sites.
We are a specialised automation company.
We do not fabricate or install gates.
Our focus is purely on automation, access control, and smart parking systems.

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Automatic Gate Technician to join our growing team.
This is a hands‐on, field‐based role working across commercial and industrial sites.
The role is primarily installation‐focused:
80% installation work
20% service, maintenance & breakdowns
You will be working with:
Sliding & swing gate motors




Boom gates
Access control systems
ANPR & parking systems (Parkezi)
After training, you will be trusted to work independently, manage your jobs, and deliver high‐quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Installation of gate automation systems
Service, fault finding & repairs
Routine maintenance and upgrades
Working independently and within a team
Communicating with office staff and clients
Skills & Experience
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Experience with electrical work (preferred but not essential)
Experience in gate automation (highly preferred but not essential)
Strong problem‐solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Reliable, organised, and takes pride in their work (a must)
