About the Role
Watch Us Grow is seeking an experienced and dedicatedCentre Directorto lead our service and drive excellence in early childhood education.
This is a fantastic chance for a passionate leader who thrives on building high-performing teams, maintaining strong compliance standards and creating outstanding outcomes for children and families.
As Director, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management and daily operations of the centre, ensuring we remain compliant with the National Quality Framework (NQF) while continuing to grow and improve our service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strong, visible leadership to educators, fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture
Ensure ongoing compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, and the National Quality Standard (NQS)
Drive strategies to improve centre utilisation and occupancy,
including enrolment growth and family engagement
Work closely with educators to support the effective implementation, planning, and evaluation of the educational program, in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Maintain accurate records, policies and documentation to meet regulatory and quality assurance requirements
Oversee rostering, staffing and day-to-day operational management
Build and maintain positive relationships with families, the community and regulatory bodies
Support a strong culture of child safety, wellbeing and continuous quality improvement
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education highly regarded)
Proven experience in a Director, Nominated Supervisor, or senior leadership role within an early childhood setting
Sound working knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS), and relevant NSW regulatory requirements
Demonstrated experience managing compliance, audits and quality improvement processes
A track record of successfully growing or maintaining strong centre utilisation
Strong leadership and mentoring skills,
with the ability to guide and support educators in delivering high-quality educational programs
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Current HLTAID012 first aid training (including anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management)
Current approved child protection training and up-to-date refresher requirements
Current Child Safe Foundations Course 1, 2, 3, 4
Appropriate food safety certification and Responsible Person training
Police Clearance less than 3 months old
Prior experience using OWNA is highly regarded but not essential, as training will be provided

All successful applicants will be required to undergo relevant background checks, including a Working with Children Check, prior to commencement.
