Retaining Wall Systems QLD – Helensvale QLD
Our firm is a large specialist subcontracting company seeking a highly motivated Junior Contracts Administrator to be based at our QLD Office in Helensvale. The Junior Contracts Administrator's primary responsibility, while being supported by the Construction Manager, is to efficiently administer our Contracts with the Head Contractor on our projects, and prepare reporting on those projects against labour and material targets.
Key responsibilities
Assisting to prepare project set up and handover once tender has been awarded
Liaising with management regarding site related contract issues including issuing of Notices
Preparing project completion reports at the end of each project for the Construction Manager and State Manager to review
Preparing O&M; Manuals and QA documents
Assisting with cost reports and productivity assessments
Assisting with preparing and submitting monthly progress claims to the Head Contractor
Preparing and submitting small variations to the Head Contractor
Assisting in all End of Month procedures, including invoice approval, stock takes / plant and equipment registers, labour costs for Work In Progress reports
About you
Would suit a 2nd year Construction Management undergraduate
A minimum of 1 years experience in contracts administration is preferred
Demonstrated experience and confidence in database development and management
Intermediate understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Excel (must)
A robust work ethic, and a willingness to learn
High attention to detail, grammar and punctuation, and an attentive listener
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
