Job Description
Responsibilities
n
n
Lead the design of Salesforce and MuleSoft solutions within assigned client engagements
n
Translate business requirements into clear, fit‐for‐purpose technical solutions
n
Define integration patterns, data flows, and non‐functional requirements in line with established standards
n
Provide architectural guidance to delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle
n
Review and assure solution designs to ensure quality, scalability, and alignment with best practices
n
Act as an escalation point for complex technical and architectural issues within delivery engagements
n

Client Engagement
n
n
Work collaboratively with clients to understand business processes, challenges, and technology landscapes
n
Facilitate architecture and solution design workshops
n
Provide trusted advisory support on platform capabilities, design trade‐offs, and future roadmap considerations
n
Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders
n
n
Business Development & Growth
n
n
Support pre‐sales activities including solution design, effort estimation, and proposal development
n
Contribute to RFPs, SOWs, and change requests
n
Identify opportunities to extend or enhance client engagements through additional services or solution optimisation
n
n
Leadership & Capability
n
n
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to consultants and developers without formal line management responsibility
n
Apply ERM architecture standards, patterns, and delivery assets consistently across engagements
n
Support capability development within Salesforce and MuleSoft delivery teams
n
Promote a culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement within project teams
n
n
Governance, Risk & Compliance
n
n
Identify and manage technical and delivery risks within client engagements
n
Ensure solutions comply with ERM policies, information security requirements, and client standards
n
Adhere to WH&S; policies and protected work practices
n
Escalate risks, issues, or incidents in a timely manner
n

Skills
n
n
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering Salesforce solutions in enterprise or government environments
n
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing integrations using MuleSoft, including API‐led and event‐driven architectures
n
Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, data modelling, security, and non‐functional requirements
n
Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions
n
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‐technical stakeholders
n
Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment
n
Strong problem‐solving skills, with the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
n
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple client engagements
n
Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, or architectural guidance within delivery teams
n
Familiarity with delivery governance, design assurance, and architectural standards
n
n
Selection Criteria
n
Essential:
n
n
Proven Salesforce solution architecture experience
n
Proven MuleSoft integration design experience
n
Experience acting as the primary solution architect on complex delivery engagements
n
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capability
n
Consulting or professional services experience
n
n
Desirable:
n
n
Salesforce certifications (e.g. Application Architect, System Architect, or equivalent)
n
MuleSoft certifications (e.g. MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect)
n
Experience working within large, integrated enterprise landscapes (e.g. ERP, data platforms, legacy systems)
n
Experience contributing to pre‐sales activities, including solution design, estimates, RFPs, or SOWs
n
Experience contributing to or applying architecture standards and design patterns
n
Experience mentoring or coaching consultants and developers
