Our client is a well-established and respected supplier of premium smallgoods, servicing supermarkets, independent retailers, cafés, restaurants and food service customers. They are seeking a reliable and adaptable Relief Driver to join their team. This role is designed to provide operational support by covering for drivers during periods of leave, illness, or increased workload.

As a Relief Driver, you'll gain experience across multiple areas of their operation, working alongside their team to ensure deliveries and warehouse functions continue to run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Cover driving and warehouse duties when team members are on leave or absent.
n
Ride as a jockey with experienced drivers to learn delivery routes, procedures, and operational requirements.
n
Complete delivery runs as required across various routes.
n
Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
n




Learn and perform a variety of operational roles to support the business as needed.
n
Travel to other depots (including Mildura, Bendigo, and other locations) when required to provide operational support.
n

What We're Looking For

n
Valid Forklift License [not key essential].
n
The ability to stay overnight if needed [key essential].
n
Flexible and willing to work across different roles and locations.
n
Physically fit and capable of manual handling, including loading and unloading.
n
Solid work ethic with a positive, team-focused attitude.
n
Ability to adapt quickly and work independently when required.
n
Good communication and time management skills.
n
n
