While direct industry experience in civil, construction, mining or industrial environments will be highly regarded, we understand strong leadership skills can come from a range of backgrounds. What's important is that you have a genuine interest in the industry and can see yourself leading teams within a fast-paced operational environment.

You'll ideally bring:

Demonstrated experience leading and developing large teams in complex operational environments
n
Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, mentor and support people
n
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
n
A genuine passion for creating positive team cultures and supporting employee wellbeing
n
The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes through people
n
Experience managing stakeholders and building strong client relationships
n
A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
n
Experience within civil, construction, mining or industrial sectors is advantageous but not essential
n
Tertiary qualifications are beneficial but not mandatory

Key Responsibilities
n

Lead, mentor and support large teams to achieve safe, productive and high-quality outcomes
n
Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, accountability, collaboration and performance
n
Provide strong leadership and guidance to Supervisors and operational teams
n
Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams
n
Coordinate people, resources and operational activities to support successful project delivery
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance team performance and efficiencies
n
Support workforce planning, employee development and succession initiatives
n
Promote and uphold AESTEC's commitment to safety, quality and employee wellbeing
n
Work collaboratively with AESTEC Management to align operational outcomes with business objectives
n
Support contract delivery and operational performance while ensuring our people remain at the centre of decision-making
n

You'l've been supported by experienced supervisors and operational teams with robust technical expertise, allowing you to focus on what you do best - leading people, building capability, and driving team performance.
