About the role
n
This is a casual Dental Assistant role at our Kingscliff practice, with up to 30+ hours most weeks for the right person. You'll work chairside with Dr Arthur Lima, who has a genuine interest in implantology and cosmetic dentistry. We're looking for an assistant who's comfortable in the sterilisation room and confident supporting implant and oral surgery procedures: someone who knows what's needed and has a desire for patients to receive the best care.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Assist chairside through implant placements, oral surgery and general restorative procedures
n
Run the sterilisation room: clean, package, sterilise, store, and keep accurate digital records
n
Set up and turn over treatment rooms, instruments and materials to protocol
n
Prepare patients for treatment and help them feel comfortable throughout
n
Support with post-operative instructions and patient care after surgical procedures
n
Help out at reception when needed, if that's an area you've worked in before
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Experience in sterilisation and infection control protocols
n
Experience assisting with implant and/or oral surgery procedures
n
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting,



or working towards one
n
Clear, calm communication with patients and the team
n
Professional presentation and up-to-date immunisations
n
n
Preferred
n
n
Experience in dental reception or front-desk duties
n
Working knowledge of Dental4Windows (D4W)
n
Comfortable working alongside a dentist with a busy implant and cosmetic caseload
n
Casual role with real room to build to 30+ hours most weeks
n
Hands-on exposure to implant and oral surgery cases, working directly with Dr Arthur Lima
n
