2. About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced Stores & Laser Materials Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating a broad range of laser cutting and fabrication materials, ensuring accurate stock control, timely supply to production and dispatch in a fast-paced environment.
n
You will play a key role in supporting smooth production flow by ensuring materials are available when needed and properly managed through stores and inventory systems.
n
3. Key Responsibilities
n

Manage inventory of laser cutting and fabrication materials
n
Receive, store, and issue materials for production use
n




Coordinate timely supply of materials to laser cutting and manufacturing operations
n
Maintain accurate stock records, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations
n
Monitor material usage, scrap, and returns
n
Support job kitting and preparation of materials for production schedules
n
Ensure efficient material flow between stores and production areas
n
Maintain safe work practices when handling materials
n
Coordinate packing, freight and dispatching of completed products.
n

4. What We are Looking For
n
n
Experience in stores, dispatch, warehousing, inventory control, or materials coordination in a manufacturing environment
n
Experience and knowledge of a broad range of laser cutting and fabrication materials is essential
n
Strong understanding of stock control processes (receiving, issuing, cycle counts, reconciliation, dispatch)
n
Ability to manage material flow to meet production demands
n
High attention to detail and accuracy with record keeping
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Current forklift licence
n
