A permanent full-time role for Refrigeration Mechanics and AC Installers within a specialist organisation providing air conditioning and electrical products and services in the Fraser Coast Region, QLD. Your normal day includes the following duties.
n
n
Use blueprints or design specifications to install or repair HVACR systems
n
Connect systems to fuel and water supply lines, air ducts, and other components
n
Install electrical wiring and controls and test for their proper operation
n
Inspect and maintain HVACR systems
n
Repair or replace worn or defective parts
n
Determine HVACR systems' energy use and make recommendations to improve their efficiency
n
n

You will need
n
n
A valid trade qualification as a Refrigeration Mechanic or relevant field
n
Solid background in working with commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, including installation, maintenance, and repairs
n
Hold a current Refrigerant Handling License and possess up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and protocols
n
Possess a sound understanding of refrigeration principles, electrical systems, and control mechanisms
n
Experience with electronic control systems is highly desirable
n
Problem-solving abilities, Communication Skills and Safety-consciousness
n
