Working alongside an experienced kitchen team, you will gain hands‐on experience across all sections of the kitchen while learning the standards and techniques required in a busy contemporary restaurant.

Key responsibilities

Assisting chefs with daily preparation and service
n
Preparing ingredients to a high standard
n
Learning and developing cooking techniques
n
Assisting with pasta, sauces, stocks, desserts and general preparation
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workstation
n
Following food safety and hygiene standards
n
Supporting the kitchen team during busy service
n
Showing a willingness to learn and take direction
n
Maintaining consistency and attention to detail
n

About you
n
n
Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but not essential
n
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or currently undertaking one is highly regarded
n




A genuine passion for cooking and hospitality
n
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
n
Reliable, punctual and well presented
n
Ability to work as part of a team
n
Willingness to learn and develop

Ability to work calmly in a busy kitchen environment
