About the Position
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Duty Manager to join a busy, high-volume hospitality operation where no two days are the same. Offering
$88K + super
, you'll play a key role in leading daily venue operations, motivating your team, and ensuring every guest receives exceptional service. Working closely with senior management, you'll have the opportunity to influence team culture, drive operational standards, and lead from the front across multiple departments. Ideal for a hands‐on hospitality leader who enjoys fast‐paced service, developing people, and being part of a professional, community‐focused venue.
Position Description
Lead daily operations across bar, bistro, gaming, café, and function areas
Supervise, coach, and motivate front‐of‐house teams throughout each shift
Conduct pre‐shift briefings and ensure clear communication across departments
Deliver exceptional customer service and professionally resolve guest concerns
Support rostering, labour management, and shift coordination
Maintain compliance with RSA, RCG, WHS, and venue operating procedures
Monitor venue presentation and uphold high operational standards
Assist with daily reporting, cash handling, and operational administration
Support the ongoing development and engagement of the venue team
Position Requirements
Previous experience as a Duty Manager or senior hospitality supervisor within a busy venue
Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams in a fast‐paced hospitality environment
Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members while driving accountability
Experience conducting shift briefings, performance conversations, and team debriefs
Strong understanding of food, beverage, gaming, and hospitality operations
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem‐solving skills
Ability to remain calm and decisive during busy service periods
Current RSA and RCG certifications essential
Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
