I'm partnering with an advanced Software company to find a Senior Rust Systems Engineerwho wants to work at the sharp edge of real‐time video processing and model inference.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving tough, low‐level systems problems just as much as shaping higher‐level tooling and infrastructure.

About the Role
You'll join theMachine Learning team, focusing on the design, development, and optimisation of a real‐time computer‐vision pipeline written primarily inRust(with some C++).
Key responsibilities include:




Owning and evolving areal‐time video processing and inference pipelinebuilt on GStreamer
Buildingcustom GStreamer pluginsusing Rust bindings for pre‐ and post‐model processing
Designingbenchmarking, profiling, and visualisation tools(Rust, Docker, Kubernetes)
Researching and evaluatingnew ML models and inference execution approaches
MaintainingCI pipelinesacross GStreamer and DeepStream releases
Designing and optimisingcamera‐to‐GPU/CPU data pipelinesto minimise latency and maximise data integrity
Collaborating closely withMLOps engineersto integrate new models into production
What I'm Looking For
5+ years' experiencein Rust, C, or C++
A robust track record buildinglow‐latency, highly reliable systems
Solid experience withDocker(Kubernetes is a bonus)
Confidence usingdebugging and performance toolssuch as GDB, Valgrind, and perf
A self‐directed problem solver who enjoys learning new technologies
Nice to Have (But Not Essential)
Hands‐on experience withGStreamer(DeepStream experience is a standout)
Work withNVIDIA Jetsonor other embedded systems
Experience usingGPU APIssuch as CUDA, WebGPU, or WebGL
