What you will do
As the Chief Engineer based inCaloundra,you will leadOmni's Rotary Wing Maintenance Teamandsupport:
Management of a motivated,high-qualityaviation maintenanceteam
Ensuring that the AMOcomplies withCASA Regulations and the AMO's exposition in relation to matters for which he or she is responsible.
Externalcustomeraircraftsupportandmaintenance delivery
Customer engagement,planning,qualityandcompliance outcomes
The team's work includes scheduled and unscheduledmaintenance,aircraftrefurbishmentandAOG defect rectification.You'llreport to the General Manager and play a key roleinensuringmaintenanceisplanned,resourcedanddeliveredsafely, efficiently, and in line with CASA and Part 145 standards.
This role suits an experienced aviation maintenance leader who can lead the team, own theoutcomesand stay hands-on when needed.

Keep work moving safely, efficiently and to standard
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualification, or relevant type-specific qualification
Significantaircraftengineeringor aviation maintenance experience, ideally5+ years
Strong working knowledge of CASA requirements, aviationmaintenancestandardsandregulatory compliance
Experience in a senior maintenance, engineering control,maintenanceplanningoraviation operations leadership role
Demonstrated experienceleading,mentoringorsupervising technical teams
Strong maintenanceplanning,prioritisationandresource management capability
Sound commercial judgement, including awareness of cost, time, quality,riskand customer impacts
Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain andmaintaina minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite and aviation maintenance systems suchasAerotrackorsimilar
In addition, the below requirements are desirable:
Type experience across Bell 206, AS350, H130 or BK117 platforms
Engine experience across Arriel, Rolls Royce C***** or LTS101 series engines
