About Us
Swift Solar and Electrical is a CEC-approved, family-owned electrical business specialising in solar PV, battery storage, and split system air conditioning installations.
We're growing and looking for a reliable Trade Assistant to join our team and support our licensed electricians on-site.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the electrical/solar industry.
You'll be working alongside experienced tradespeople on a variety of residential and commercial jobs, gaining hands-on experience with solar panel installs, battery systems, and AC units.
No prior experience is necessary – we're happy to train the right person, but a genuine interest in the trade and a strong work ethic go a long way.
Day to day you'll be:
Assisting electricians with solar, battery, and AC installations
Carrying materials, preparing job sites, and keeping work areas clean and safe
Running cable, mounting panels, and helping with basic wiring tasks under supervision




Loading/unloading the work vehicle and managing stock/materials
Following safety procedures and site instructions at all times
What we're looking for:
Current driver's licence (own reliable transport preferred)
White Card (construction induction card)
Punctual, reliable, and willing to work outdoors in all conditions
Good physical fitness – some lifting and working at heights involved
Robust attitude and willingness to learn – trade experience is a bonus but not essential
