An exciting chance is available for an experiencedData Engineerto join a large, complex organisation and work across a mature enterprise data environment.
This is a hands-on role combiningdata engineering, data warehousing and Power BI development, with a strong focus on the Microsoft technology stack.
You'll help enhance an established Data Warehouse environment, develop ETL solutions and deliver high-quality reporting and data solutions that support business decision-making.
What you'll be doing
Enhance and maintain a complexData Warehouseenvironment
Develop ETL solutions usingSQL Server, SSIS and Microsoft Fabric
Build engaging and effectivePower BI reports
Design and implementsemantic modelsand operational data stores
Analyse and improveETL and reporting performance
Work closely with business SMEs to understand and refine data and reporting requirements
Provide technical advice across data engineering and business intelligence
What we're looking for




You'll be an experienced Data Engineer or BI Developer with a strong background in theMicrosoft data and BI ecosystem.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Hands-on experience withSSIS, SSAS and/or SSRS
Experience withMicrosoft Fabric
SolidETL development, workflow and data mapping experience
ExtensiveData Warehouse developmentexperience
Understanding of conceptual, logical and physicaldata modelling
Experience translating business requirements into practical data and reporting solutions
