An established property development and civil infrastructure company is seeking an experiencedProject Managerto join the team and take responsibility for the final stages of a major industrial development inWestern Sydney.
This is a5-month contract opportunityfocused on driving the project through completion, managing outstanding works and ensuring a smooth pathway to theOccupation Certificate (OC).
The Role you will take ownership of the final delivery and close-out phase of the project.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the completion and close-out of outstanding defects
Overseeing outstanding sewer and infrastructure works
Managing contractors, consultants and relevant authorities
Tracking outstanding works against programme and key milestones
Resolving issues that could impact practical completion or OC
Driving the project through final completion and obtaining theOccupation Certificate
Providing regular progress updates to senior stakeholders

Providing regular progress updates to senior stakeholders
About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
Previous experience as aProject Managerdelivering industrial, commercial or large-scale construction projects
Strong experience in thecompletion, defects and handoverstages of projects
Experience coordinating civil, infrastructure and public domain works
A solid understanding of theOccupation Certificate process
Excellent contractor, consultant and stakeholder management skills
The ability to step into an existing project and quickly take ownership
Availability to commit to an initial5-month contract
