About the Role
We're seeking aSenior Cyber Security Consultant – Detection & Response Engineerto join our client's growing Cyber Defense team.
This role sits within theAssurance pillar– one of four key areas in our client's cyber defense strategy and plays a critical part in proactive threat hunting and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and executeincident response (IR)activities—this is amandatory skillset.
Conductproactive threat huntingand detection across enterprise environments.
Serve as an escalation point in theon-call roster(approx. once per quarter).
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability uplift (desirable).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve detection and response tooling.
Contribute to the development of playbooks, runbooks, and automation strategies.
Support the team in building a strong cyber assurance culture.
About You
10+ yearsof experience in cyber security, with a strong focus on detection and response.
Proven experience inincident responseand threat hunting.
Strong problem solving skills and accountability mindset.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace and able tohit the ground running.




Hands‐on experience with security tools is highly desirable.
