The CompanyParagon Talent Solutions has been engaged to assist an Australian-owned provider of electrical and industrial automation solutions who support clients across several industrial sectors.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Control Systems Service Engineer to join their team based in Western Sydney.
This position will primarily focus on remote monitoring, troubleshooting and technical support of client automation systems, with site visits required when issues cannot be resolved remotely.
This opportunity will suit engineers who enjoy solving technical problems, supporting live operational systems and working closely with clients to ensure automation platforms remain reliable and efficient.
The Position
As a Control Systems Service Engineer, you will support the ongoing operation and reliability of industrial control systems across a range of client sites.
Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting PLC and SCADA systems remotely
Diagnosing and resolving control system faults and operational issues
Supporting the optimisation and reliability of automation platforms




Providing technical support and advice to clients
Escalating complex issues and collaborating with internal engineering teams
Attending client sites when faults cannot be resolved remotely
Supporting minor upgrades, configuration changes and system improvements
Your ExperienceTo be considered for this position, you will likely have experience working within industrial automation, system integrators or service engineering environments.
You may currently be working for a systems integrator, OEM automation provider or end user supporting control systems in operational environments.
You will also possess:
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or similar
Strong competence with PLC and SCADA technologies
Experience troubleshooting industrial control systems in live environments
Exposure to platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Ignition or similar
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication skills and the ability to support clients effectively
What's On OfferSalary package $90K – $120K + Super depending on experience

Work with experienced engineers supporting critical automation platforms
