HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a leading national commercial law firm to appoint anAssociate or Senior Associateinto its highly regarded Construction & Infrastructure practice in Sydney.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a construction lawyer looking to work on high-profile projects within a close-knit, high-performing team that combines sophisticated work with genuine mentoring and long-term career development.
The role
Working closely with an experienced Partner and broader national team, you'll advise on matters including:
Construction procurement
Building and infrastructure contracts
Design and Construct (D&C;) contracts
Consultant and subcontract agreements
Infrastructure and development projects
Strategic construction advice
You'll work directly with clients throughout the lifecycle of major projects, providing commercially focused advice and taking on increasing responsibility as your career develops.
About you
You'll ideally have:
3–7+ years' post-admission experience
Experience in construction law, preferably front-end, or a strong commercial litigation background with an interest in construction
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail
The ability to manage matters autonomously and build trusted client relationships
A proactive, collaborative and commercially minded approach
