We are seeking an experiencedMaintenance Fitterto join the engineering and maintenance team at a well-established global food manufacturing organisation in Melbourne's South East.
This is a hands-on maintenance role responsible for keeping production equipment, utilities and site infrastructure operating safely and reliably.
You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment faults and support ongoing improvements across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on food manufacturing and packaging equipment
Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs to minimise production downtime
Carry out equipment inspections, servicing, installations and modifications
Support site utilities and facilities, including boilers, compressors, chillers and HVAC systems
Assist with the operation and monitoring of the site's Trade Waste Treatment Plant
Coordinate contractors and ensure maintenance activities comply with safety and food manufacturing standards
About You




Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter or similar
Experience performing preventative and breakdown maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical fault-finding, repair and troubleshooting skills
Experience within food, beverage, pharmaceutical or process manufacturing is highly regarded
Exposure to utilities, facilities maintenance or wastewater systems would be advantageous
Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality and compliance
The Opportunity

Enterprise Agreement -C7 Trades Level
$***** per hour plus super
