We're looking for a
Test and Release Team Lead
to join our
Adelaide
office and lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for testing, systems administration and release management across the
Department for Child Protection
.
This is an opportunity to shape how technology is tested, governed and delivered, working across the full systems development life cycle to ensure solutions are secure, reliable and ready for use. You'll work closely with a range of stakeholders to embed quality, manage risk and support the delivery of effective digital services across the organisation.
You will be responsible for:
Leading, coaching and developing staff to support a high-performing, collaborative team
Establishing testing and quality assurance practices across the systems development life cycle
Overseeing testing activities and ensuring requirements, test coverage and defects are clearly tracked
Managing controlled releases and service acceptance before changes move into production
Providing expert advice on quality and release readiness to ICT leadership and business stakeholders.
About you:
You have experience leading testing, quality assurance and/or release management in a complex ICT environment
You bring strong knowledge of recognised testing and quality assurance practices
You have experience working in Agile and multidisciplinary ICT environments
You can lead releases and deployments through change control, service acceptance and operational transition
You are a confident people leader who develops specialist staff and communicates technical risks clearly to senior stakeholders.
