Diesel Mechanic/Hydraulic Technician/Limited Hydraulic experience considered
Our main operation centre is situated in the Latrobe Valley; 11⁄2 hours east of Melbourne, with an additional Engineering and Service centre in Melbourne. We offer Mechanical and Fluid Power Solutions for our diverse market, providing sales, service, and maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems since ****. Our client base covers mining, oil and gas, power, pulp and paper, agriculture, and the transport sector. We are also Australia's leading distributor for Triple R Oil filtration and privately owned family business.
Summary
Due to continued growth, we are seeking someone with a robust mechanical aptitude and ideally hydraulic experience.
We are looking to provide both internal and external training with a view to having you working onsite and offsite working across a range industries. Competitive hourly rates are on offer, negotiable with experience with opportunities for overtime. The Role




We are seeking someone with a high mechanical aptitude -
LIMITED HYDRAULIC EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED
.
Our Traralgon and Morwell branches service these main industries – Pulp & Paper, Forestry, Quarry and Coal Mining, you will be required to:
Perform allocated workshop duties, including cylinder overhauls, pump and motor repairs and testing
Field service, including scheduled maintenance and servicing, diagnostics and repairs to hydraulic and mechanical equipment
Maintain equipment, tools and work area along with good documentation and service records
Direct and mentor apprentices when required
Regular drug and alcohol testing required to access critical infrastructure sites
Hose and tube manufacture
Diagnose, troubleshoot and Report on equipment following disassembly and inspection
Other attributes that are not necessary but will be highly regarded:
A strong background in Field Service experience with the ability to prepare clear and concise service reports
Experience in Fluid Power (Oil) and lubrication systems services
Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics
