Norseman Region (OK, Scotia & Bullen) | Redpath Mining

Redpath Mining is seeking experienced Charge Up Operators to join our underground teams across the Norseman region. Working on a 7/7 roster, you'll support blasting activities safely and efficiently while contributing to a strong safety and team culture.
n
Responsibilities
n
n
Carry out Charge Up operations in line with site procedures and blast designs
n
Handle, transport, and use explosives safely and compliantly
n
Perform charging, priming, tie‐ins, firing and misfire management
n
Maintain accurate records and complete all safety documentation
n
Conduct pre-start checks, workplace inspections (Take 5's, JSAs)
n
Ensure work areas are barricaded and signposted correctly
n
Work closely with supervisors,



surveyors and production teams
n
Report hazards, incidents, and near misses immediately
n
Support continuous improvement and safe work practices across the team
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Previous underground Charge Up / Blasting experience
n
Current WA Shotfirer's Licence (or ability to obtain)
n
Valid Manual Driver's Licence
n
Current First Aid & CPR
n
Strong communication skills and ability to follow procedures
n
Able to work independently and as part of a small crew
n
A solid safety mindset aligned with Redpath's values
